thinks outside of the box and always have! I have questioned the truth, to my mom, elders, close friends etc. I have always done my "research" before the net and after the net. Yes granted the WT and the ppl in it aren't perfect, but I feel they have the truth closer then any other so called religion out there! And trust me, I know what 99% of the other religions teach. And if I left the truth, I would be nothing! I would eat drink and tomorrow prolly die.. becuz none of us on this earth have the truth and we all have no hope! I am sorry that you feel that the JW's are a cult, I am sorry that perhaps satan has gripped his claws into you. I have viewed your site and others like yours. I just laugh! Becuz its sad! Why do you care if ppl stay as JW's etc. Why are you so hell bent on making the WT and JW's look so bad. Are you doing this for the baptist and Catholics? I dont fear the holidays, or the cross etc. I'm married to a non-JW, my family loves him as I do and our congergation have excepted him when he visits. I have never really experience such craziness that yall speak of. Granted there has been a few fruitcake JW's that have strong opinions.. but if its not in the bible.. then freaking ignore it! You wont die at armegeddon or burn in hell if there was such a thing! Ppl like these ppl want to be told what to do. Some ppl are leaders, follows and like me independent! I follow Jehovah, not the WT, not JW's and not the rest of the world. I form my own educated opinion of the truth, just like my active mom, my bestfriend and 99% of my family who are JW's!! You ppl need a life! And yes I have expected Jesus as my savior and yes I believe that God has a name and I have first handed experienced God's blessings! And last, not everyone who calls themselves a JW is one! I had a Rabbi, yes a Rabbi, said I am a true child of God (he couldn't say Jehovah) and he said that I will go to heaven.. so either way I believe I'm saved. And how I known a Rabbi, well I was his employee and we spoke freely of the bible! So.. there :P I think outside the box! But in my view you are the closed minded bitterly angry fools.. why dont u just eat drink and be marry and live your life the way you want, well whats left of it. Accordly to the scriptures in all bibles, not just the NWT, but all versions, you are speaking agaisnt God and judging this faith. Just get a life! Ta ta!

What a reasonable and logical letter that was!!!! And such perfect grammar, spelling and punctuation. I would be ashamed of myself if I had sent something like that for people to read.
As a former, though not disfellowshipped JW, I have seen so many times how JW's attack others when they can't defend the Watchtower Society. And let us be honest here, JW's serve the Society, not Jehovah.
Since coming to sites like this and realising I am not the only one who feels this way has made me feel free, I can be me again.
I also have to wonder why JW's come onto these sites. Do they themselves have doubts I wonder?

Wow! Another JW who claims to only serve Jehovah and not the religion. It amazes me that this flavor of JW cannot appreciate the insanity of that comment. The religion teaches that Jehovah is only using this religion's leaders to disseminate "the truth". So, any JW who is picking and chosing what the religion teaches is not truly adhering to the teachings of the religion and by extension, Jehovah. They don't seem to appreciate the contradiction of their comments or behavior. And, no doubt, that is why the individual married an unbeliever - a sin which is not punishable by disfellowshipping but is nonetheless, a JW sin! And, I doubt very much that this individual is truly well acquainted with .99 percent of all religions. What I have learned is that this site has exposed JW's religion and the members who read the articles in this site sometimes take these things too personal. The condemnation is mainly aimed at the leaders, not the rank and file - who have had their minds conditioned. So many times I have seen comments about the rank and file being good people, but who have been serious mislead. (Look at all the errors in the religion and never an apology... it's awful!)
